concept

In the future, most people will live in urban dwellings with no outdoor spaces. With this project, I investigated the outdoor-indoor limits of gardening. Rather than dividing indoor plants into isolated pots, my planting system connects them through soil that runs through the pipes. Similarly to garden plants, the saplings planted in this system share soil and water, and they are able to reach one another through roots.
